Sr. Director, Engineering - Endpoint Development

Summary

We are currently seeking a Senior Director of Engineering to lead and grow Forcepoint Global Endpoint Engineering responsible for building all endpoints used by Forcepoint products. Reporting into the VP of Engineering for Data and Insider Threat, this candidate will be responsible for transforming endpoint development within Forcepoint into an industry leading function. This is a highly challenging role. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience developing endpoints and/or leading endpoint development across multiple platforms (e.g. Windows, Mac, Linux, mobile) and in geographically distributed environments. The candidate will partner with people across the globe responsible for the development, delivery, and support of products whom depend on their endpoints. This role requires someone who works well in highly stressful environments, understands challenging problems, is a creative problem solver, and communicates well. This is a critical role for execution on Forcepoint’s mission to protect the ‘Human Point’. This is a great opportunity to work with a large team focused on growing existing products and innovating to tackle larger problems in security. You will have the opportunity to drive exciting technical projects in an innovative atmosphere and provide technical leadership. Education, Experience, and Skills

4+ years in senior roles leading software development teams Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field Proven ability to drive technical vision, delivery, and operational performance improvements across an organization In-depth experience leading teams developing close to the hardware (e.g. building drivers, kernel modules, endpoints, etc.) on multiple platforms Results-oriented approach to development, testing, and delivery of products and features Track record building high performing engineering teams Ability to work across disciplines to partner with other groups to lead the business to success Leading multiple agile teams working concurrently on multiple applications Strong public speaking skills Ability to execute complex projects in large organization A can-do approach backed by accomplishments.
