About the Role
As a Sr Engineering Manager for CrowdStrike’s Advanced Products team, you will lead a team of engineers developing, scaling and operating key big data technology behind our Falcon Host product. You will be responsible for shepherding products from rapid prototypes through full-scale deployment of distributed applications, processing and storing over one trillion security events per week. You will be directly plugged into the business – continuously optimizing the performance, reliability and efficiency of your product.
Responsibilities:
- Solid design and problem solving skills with demonstrated passion for engineering excellence, quality, security and performance.
- Strong cross-group collaboration and interpersonal communication skills working with variety of roles including engineering, product management, UX design.
- Experience leading teams working with one or more of the following technologies : Go(GoLang), Python, and JavaScript.
What You'll Need
- BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of software or systems engineering experience, in all phases of a software/service development lifecycle.
- 5+ years of experience supporting critical applications, systems and customers.
- 3+ years of hands-on management experience leading engineering teams.
Preferred:
- Experience with Splunk data ingestion, processing and large-scale (petabytes) operations.
- Experience leading engineering of cloud services and working with AWS and private cloud infrastructure.
- Exposure to/experience with cybersecurity and intelligence.
