We are looking for a Sr iOS Engineer to join our technology team to lead and create best-in-class mobile digital experiences as we build out the next great activewear brand together. The right candidate is a versatile engineering leader who is able to lead and code, and bring designs and concepts to life through the full development lifecycle. You stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in iOS development, and can work seamlessly with designers to create the best product possible. All projects moving forward will target iOS 13 as a minimum, meaning all new tools from Apple can be used, including SwiftUI.

Responsibilities

• Ship beautiful and functional mobile products for our customers, enabling more people to get out #DoingThings
• Own feature delivery through completion
• Spec and delegate work out to the iOS team
• Work directly with a design/creative team to build out experiences that differentiate OV from competitors in our space
• Improve code quality and engineering best practices
• Work cross-functionally across business to deliver best in class experiences
• Develop projects from scratch and build processes and systems around the project to enable agility moving forward
• Lead initiatives and report out status

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or a related technical field
• 5+ years of iOS development experience
• Experience with Swift and Objective-C
• Experience with Open Source projects
• Experience shipping apps with iTunes Connect
• Understanding of software development life cycles to lead by example in planning and estimating out tasks for projects
• Knowledge of CI/deployment best practices, and capable of building out a continuous deployment workflow
• Agile and excited to work in a start-up environment
• Ability to break down and estimate complex problems
• Ability to deliver high quality projects end to end, getting completed projects across the finish line
• Familiar with building, launching, and supporting products that are used globally
• A testing mindset and familiarity with testing strategies
• Backend/API Experience a plus
