Job Description Summary

CCC Information Services Business Overview:
CCC Drive combines mobility technology and high-powered data and analytics software into a single, revolutionary offering in the usage-based auto insurance (UBI) market. Usage-based insurance means using electronic sensors to measure how a car is driven and setting rates based on those sensor readings. Drive’s offering helps drivers improve their driving and benefit from personalized rates and safe-driver discounts. Recent contract signings are establishing CCC as a leader in telematics and usage of big data and cloud platforms to provide real time driving scoring.

The Sr. QA Analyst position is a key role that acts as the primary QA liaison with our customers throughout implementation. The role, which requires exemplary communication skills, consulting experience, and technical knowledge, acts as the face of the Telematics QA Organization to customers and is a voice of the customer to internal Telematics Product Development and QA teams.

 

Job Duties

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients and business partners to design, execute, and manage integration, end-user, and end-to-end tests
  • Work with internal and external project teams to understand and document testing needs
  • Create and maintain test scripts, test cases and test plans
  • Review user stories with business analysts, designers and developers to ensure tests are appropriate to demonstrate that delivered solution meets agreed upon requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain QA documentation and metrics to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and requirements.
  • Communicate with peers and management frequently and clearly
  • Conduct test case reviews and ensure requirements traceability
  • Develop test procedures to test inbound, outbound and integrity of each base-lined interface.
  • Develop test procedures to test each system requirement (based on the base-lined use cases) to include positive and negative testing.

 

Qualifications

Qualifications
& Experience

  • 6 + years of proven experience as a QA Analyst and End to End Tester
  • 3+ years professional programming experience in Java, Python, and/or other languages

  • BS in Computer Sciences/Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Solid experience with end-to-end testing, test data collection and integration testing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with testing front-end and backend APIs of Web and Batch applications
  • Experience with test management tools (Client ALM)
  • Advanced knowledge of common software testing procedures and methodologies

 

Other Beneficial Skills

  • Experience testing API’s
  • Experience using and setting up VMWare instances
  • Experience with Unix
  • Experience working with commercial build frameworks (QuickBuild, Jenkins, TeamCity, etc.)

  • Experience working with Perforce, Git, and/or other source control systems

  • Experience with Agile methodology or iterative development
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks
