About the position
Our Baltimore office is looking for a DevOps engineer with 8+ years of experience in developing Ops tools, or Operations role to join our existing DevOps team. This person would be working alongside a small team of other DevOps engineers, developing new solutions for deployment automation, supporting customer engagements that have challenging infrastructures, helping to secure our product deployment, recommending best practices, and working locally and remotely with software engineers, Professional Services and Sales Engineering teams.
What you will be doing
While Forcepoint has many products, the focus for this particular position is working on our User & Entity Behavior Analytics product (UEBA). The UEBA product is a collection of services, running on a cluster of servers, and our DevOps team is responsible for building out and supporting the automation tools for deploying and maintaining this product.
You will achieve this by…
Helping drive innovation through improvements to the CI/CD pipeline while automating everything
Providing solid features to our Ansible roles which support the UEBA deployment platform
Developing new deployment methods for our platform such as dynamic service discovery, scaling on Kubernetes, pulling in modern tools and technologies into our stack
Supporting teams who use our tools such as Engineering, Professional Services and Sales Engineering
Running our infrastructure as code via git and webhooks
Building a strong DevOps culture while also fostering strong collaboration with all areas of development, product, and QA
Documenting all the things!
Mentoring junior team members and foster a collaborative, process-mature team
Being passionate about championing new tools, processes and helping adoption across our organization

Required Skills
Well versed in Cloud technologies
Strong Linux and Windows troubleshooting skills
Comfortable working with networking technologies
Configuration Management - Ansible (or strong desire to dive in)
Adept at scripting language of your choice
Managing packages/patches such as OVAs, containers, rpms, pip, npm
CI/CD familiarity
