Staff Software Engineer
Cloud Lending, a Q2 Company, was founded with the mission to enable great access to credit. Our cloud-based solutions help financial institutions digitize and automate their lending/leasing operations end to end from the borrower experience to the back office. With Q2, financial institutions can compete and issue more loans to more people efficiently; thereby increasing financial inclusion in the world.
We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer who will refine and mature the capabilities of the platform to enable development of features and product by internal Q2 developers as well as external 3rd parties.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work with technical stakeholders to define platform capabilities and best practices
Build APIs that are consistent, easy to consume, and reliable/scalable
Work with CL/Q2 designers to educate best practices and platform consistency when designing features and products within the platform
Write automated tests to ensure API and platform stability and maintainability
Mentor and educate developers to ensure successful integration with the CL/Q2 platform
Continuously evaluate web standards to ensure the platform stays current and compliant
Responsible for ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy policies and controls are adhered to
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:
Minimum of 5-years of full stack application development experience at scale, with emphasis on building and deploying, single-page applications
Masters in computer science preferred
Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms, programming languages, and frameworks such as ReactJS, Redux.
Familiarity with complex, enterprise architecture
Comfortable building/managing frameworks including configuration based features, managing states through state machines
Experience in working in various layers of a complex application stack
Experience working in Git along with JavaScript build tools.
Experience debugging applications for cross-browser and mobile perfection
Desire to push the boundaries of the mobile web experiences
