About the Role
In this role, you will act as a senior member of the IT Eng Platform team, which handles the corporate AWS, GCP, and VMware environments and all Data Center compute and storage. In addition, you will work as an SME on many key projects and initiatives and will able work with some of the latest cloud technologies.
What You Will Do

• Design, implement and maintain all AWS and GCP infrastructure and services
• Design and implement availability, scalability, and performance plans
• Continual re-evaluation of existing stack and infrastructure to maintain efficient performance, availability and security
• Build reusable infrastructure components using infrastructure-as-code technologies to allow teams to lead their own infrastructure needs
• Write scripts to automate operations and server management
• Document current and future configuration processes and policies

Basic Qualifications

• 6+ years in a similar role
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Cloud (AWS) experience:
• A deep understanding of AWS IAM and resource policies and how to approach least privilege in AWS
• Experience with cloud networking (VPCs, subnets, routes, loggers, proxies, NAT gateways, internet gateways, endpoints, Transit Gateways, etc.)
• Experience configuring AWS Backup and disaster recovery for a large AWS Organization
• Automation experience:
• Automation in AWS with Terraform and CloudFormation
• GCP experience
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like docker, Kubernetes
• Comfortable scripting in several languages (Bash, Python, Ruby, Go, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with: infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform, Puppet, Ansible), supervising and alerting (e.g. Prometheus, Thanos, Cortex, Grafana), logging (e.g. Logstash, Elasticsearch)
• Linux systems administration and shell scripting
• Amazon WorkSpaces and/or AppStream experience
