Customer Success Managers, Account Executives, Business Development Representatives, Solution Engineers, and Sales Operations - all working together help our customers adopt Cloudflare and create great Internet-enabled experiences. The Strategic Customer Migration Services team at Cloudflare works with key strategic accounts to ensure a successful migration from incumbent solutions allowing them to realise the value of the Cloudflare platform.About the role
This role is an exciting opportunity to join a new program that will be pivotal in helping further build Cloudflare’s Strategic customer engagement model for the Asia Pacific, Japan & Greater China region (APJC). Reporting directly to the Solution Engineering Leader in region and working closely with the Migrations Services Delivery Lead and Architect, the role will collaborate closely with customers and internal post-sales teams during complex customer migration projects. You will work with our key strategic customers providing hands-on support in all practical aspects of the migration including configuration conversion and implementation, automation and guidance related to best practices ultimately ensuring an efficient, organised and successful adoption of Cloudflare.

You will have a good understanding of technical design and architecture principles within different ecosystems as well as hands on experience in performing cloud/security migrations or implementations.
Additional experience might include a combination of the skills below:
- Ability to manage a project, work to deadlines, and prioritize between competing demands
- Understanding of “how the internet works”. For example:
- Know the differences between TCP & UDP, and understand what kinds of applications may favor one over the other;
- Can explain the difference between authoritative DNS & recursive DNS;
- You understand the role of a firewall, why TLS (SSL) plays an increasingly important role on today's Internet, a solid understanding of HTTP and a willingness to dive deeper into the quirks of clients & servers alike;
- 3+ years in a customer facing technical, sales or consulting role.
- Creation of technical design or architecture documentation.
- Experience with implementing or utilising Infrastructure as Code, for example Terraform or other automation tools.
- You've built a web application before, or contributed to an existing application in a meaningful way;
- You can describe the differences between CSRF, XSS and SQLi in detail, and Cloudflare's role in defending against them;
- Familiarity with Internet Networking and Routing (BGP, peering vs interconnects) or tunneling protocols e.g. GRE
- Exposure to emerging technical landscape trends, e.g. SASE and Zero Trust.
