Job Description

We're looking for a dynamic Systems Engineer to join the LaborChart team. LaborChart is now a Procore company. Together, our integrated solutions will give contractors a holistic view of their workforce, ensuring they have the control they need to manage, schedule, and budget their labor.

As a Systems Engineer, you'll join a growing Customer Experience team of professionals focused on partnership, problem-solving, and delivering delightful interactions. By leveraging LaborChart's proprietary QuickConnect™ system, you'll facilitate customer integrations in collaboration with LaborChart team members. You'll engage with potential and current customers to inform and manage the introduction, planning, execution, and completion of multi-system data integrations via a first-class customer experience. This position reports to the Senior Systems Engineer and can be based in our Portland, OR, or Overland Park, KS, office. We're looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you'll do:

  • Become a LaborChart platform and QuickConnect™ expert

  • Interface directly with customers, prospective customers, and third-party vendors on all data and technical topics

  • Sustain a high level of engagement with customers to guide and support the development and execution of an integration plan

  • Proactively manage workload, timelines, and competing priorities

  • Provide advanced support and troubleshooting to integrated accounts when escalated

  • Maintain the highest level of professionalism and service at all times to both internal and external stakeholders

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems or a related field is required 

  • 2+ years of hands-on relational database experience in a professional setting

  • Advanced interpersonal communication skills to speak confidently and professionally about technical matters digestible to technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Ability to simplify complex concepts in unscripted, customer-facing dialogue

  • Ability to execute simple calls against REST APIs

  • Working knowledge of common BI platforms is a plus

  • Strong desire to grow professionally

Procore Austin is the second largest of our offices, occupying six floors in the Chase Tower at the center of downtown Austin.
