We're looking for a support engineer ready to join a small and growing startup. You will be our first support engineer and work with first responders using our software to save lives.
We're looking for someone with a passion for helping First Responders. Someone who can become an expert with the DroneSense platform. Someone who likes digging in deep to find the best solution when called by a Firefighter who's run into a problem flying their drone. If talking with Emergency personnel in the morning and flying drones outside in the afternoon sounds fun - we may be a great match.
Your Day to Day:
- Responding to tickets and support calls from First Responders using our software.
- Evaluating our releases prior to shipping software for their impact on customers
- Flying & testing drones with our mobile apps
- Reproducing issues users are seeing in the field and communicating them with the rest of the team
- Investigating & troubleshooting complex issues
- Adding articles to our support system
- Occasional travel to our customers' sites for training
What we are looking for:
- 2+ years in a Technical Support role
- Experience providing training for users
- Experience writing content for a knowledge base
- Experience working with First Responders is a bonus
- Experience with Drones (or a desire to learn)
