As a member of the Marketing Team, the Web Developer will assist in the design, build and maintenance of three new internal marketing websites, as well as maintaining legacy WordPress sites during the transition. Responsibilities will also include taking concepts from design to production utilizing front end technologies including HTML, CSS and JavaScript and help create a web presence that effectively communicates the brand voice, technologies and product information.
Responsibilities:
- Help propose and collaborate on new features and design for multiple company websites and partner landing pages
- Design and code responsive experiences that work flawlessly on a variety of platforms
- Creates and executes front-end development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) for site components, templates and content pages. This includes but is not limited to company websites, as well as 200+ partner landing pages
- Create and manage templates for faster web development and cohesive design
- Work with internal stakeholders across a variety of departments including Management, Support and Sales
- Responsible for HTML email marketing campaigns. Product emails, informational emails and frequent sale campaigns.Includes Photoshop template design, HTML coding and best practices to ensure deliverability
- Assist in QA and code reviews to assure the website meets specified requirements
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience building responsive websites
- Must have a strong sense for a quality user experience and design
- 2+ years’ experience with HTML/CSS/JavaScript required
- 2+ years’ experience with Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with the following desired: Contentful CMS, WordPress, Jekyll
- Experience with dependency management tools: Yarn and NPM
- 1-2 years with CSS preprocessors: SCSS/LESS
- Ability to work in an agile/SCRUM/GIT team environment
- Must be reliable, flexible, punctual and a team player
