Position Overview:
The Ecommerce Technology Manager oversees the technical solutions at Kendra Scott. This role requires proven leadership skills and the ability to effectively grow and develop the entire Kendra Scott ecommerce ecosystem while providing ongoing project support.
Responsibilities:
• Provide day-to-day support of ecommerce operations
• Provide hands-on leadership to help develop smart solutions, identify constraints and build for scalability
• Maintain expert understanding of current infrastructure and end-to-end processes
• Troubleshoot, debug application(s) and/or IT infrastructure component(s) and recommend enhancements for stable operations
• Assess current practices and make recommendations for improvement
• Partner with application owners and business units to understand application roadmaps and architectures
• Work with IT Operations as a cross functional team to achieve shared goals
• Manage all Scrum related activities
• High level Project Management experience, including creating, executing and delivering optimum SOW results
• Ensure site performance is being monitored and issues are addressed
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• 7+ years’ experience in an ecommerce environment, including OMS and WMS systems
• Scrum Master is preferred
• PMI Certification is a plus
• A proven ability to break down larger initiatives into consumable achievable tasks to achieve departmental and company objectives
• Ability to clearly articulate plans and ensure team is aligned
• A solutions-oriented mentality with a data driven approach
• Excellent working knowledge of agile methodologies
• Has a “customer first” mentality that understands change and how it impacts the business both in positive and negative ways
• Retail industry experience is preferred
• A growth mindset: track record of leveraging past learnings, encouraging new ideas and smart risk taking in self and others
• Strong communication skills with a proven ability to build cross functional partnerships to make effective decisions collaboratively
