Job Description

As an Enterprise Market Development Representative (EMDR), you are responsible for generating opportunities for the Enterprise Sales Team, supporting both the Sales Directors as well as the VP of Corporate Development. This begins with the organizing and qualification of all leads and strategic prospecting into target accounts. You are Dropoff’s front-line of strategic client communication, helping clients quickly move through the process of evaluating whether Dropoff’s same-day delivery solutions can meet their own organization's needs. The Enterprise Sales team at Dropoff is a lean team with large goals, so there is ample opportunity for career advancement based on consistent performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Solid understanding and demonstration of Dropoff’s offering and market position in order to deliver that message across a variety of verticals, multiple depts, and use cases

  • Performing necessary research to identify and develop relevant sales opportunities, key personas, and areas of opportunity for Dropoff alignment within the prospect organization

  • Aggressive hunter mentality and adept in using creative efforts to engage customers

  • Manage all contacts and leads in our CRM to accurately and efficiently develop accounts and opportunities

  • Excelling at the qualification of each opportunity to ensure the right level of follow through and commitment through the early sales process

  • Achieve KPIs that drive quarterly opportunity generation and pipeline attainment goals

  • Collaborate with multiple departments (marketing, operations, etc) to help create valuable sales content and drive sales success

  • Professional Representation of Enterprise Sales within Dropoff and representation of Dropoff externally at conferences
     

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of sales/lead generation experience, preferably in SaaS, Technology or Logistics

  • Proven work ethic and desire to generate leads through a variety of channels (phone, email, social, etc.)

  • Understanding of supply chain, logistics, and retail industry a plus

  • The ability to learn quickly and be a self-starter

  • Motivated to have a career in sales

  • Team player

  • Ability to have meaningful and informed conversations with executive-level prospects

  • Experience with Excel, CRM tools, and email marketing platforms is a plus
    Bachelor’s degree preferred


This position will report to Dropoff’s VP Corporate Development.
