The Escrow Treasury Assistant will manage treasury functions, process accounts payable, initiate wire transfers, and ensure compliance with financial regulations while providing support to the Accounting Team.

Golden Dog Title & Trust is seeking a Title & Escrow Treasury Assistant. This role will support the Accounting Team in managing treasury functions related to title & escrow operations and accounts payable duties. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in initiating wire transfers and other treasury transactions.
- Process accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Review invoices for accuracy and approval in accordance with company policies.
- Prepare and process payments to vendors via checks, ACH, or wire transfers.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies related to treasury and accounts payable functions.
- Assist in maintaining documentation and records for audit purposes.
- Provide administrative support to the Treasury Manager and accounting team as needed.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks to support departmental goals and initiatives.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field preferred.
- Prior experience in escrow treasury operations and/or accounts payable functions is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
- SoftPro experience preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards is desirable.
