The Building and Construction Authority (BCA) champions the development and transformation of the Built Environment sector, to improve Singapore’s living environment. We are looking for dynamic individuals who can contribute to BCA’s growing strategic communications functions. The candidate will be involved in the full suite of strategic and integrated communications work and will drive publicity to enhance the image of BCA and the built environment sector.

You will play an integral role in BCA’s strategic and integrated communications, including media and online campaign management. Duties include:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to synthesise information from multiple sources to develop comprehensive communications strategies that deliver policy outcomes for different target audiences

  • Conceptualise and execute integrated, targeted communications campaigns and programmes to effectively deliver BCA messages and call to action for varied audiences. This includes developing content strategies and defining the correct target audience, leveraging multi channels to achieve the desired outcomes

  • Prepare, analyse and leverage data analytics to guide media communications, including staffing and managing media queries and interviews, preparing press materials and proactively engaging the media to pitch stories and deliver key messages

  • Lead and curate content with digital team and ensure it is done in a creative and engaging way to support communication objectives

  • Manage issues with various stakeholders and develop crisis communications plan

  • Foster strong and positive relationships with key stakeholders and partners

The candidate should possess:

  • A University degree, preferably in communications and marketing related fields, with 1 to 4 years of work experience in integrated communication function including media and campaign management, and digital marketing

  • Strong storytelling, writing and editing skills

  • Proven track record in project management for integrated campaigns, with tangible outcomes

  • Ability to interact and work collaboratively in a people-oriented environment

  • Multi-task and can thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

  • A self-driven team player, as well as an independent self-starter, with strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence

  • Professional and positive attitude towards work and learning
