SailPoint is looking for a Staff Accountant to help support the accounting month-end close process and sales commission operations for 500+ sales employees.
Responsibilities:

  • Prepare journal entries and update supporting schedules
  • Complete monthly reconciliation of Accrued Commissions account and other balance sheet accounts
  • Providing support and documentation related to various audits including financial and statutory
  • Assist with the development and implementation of sales compensation plans in the commission database
  • Maintain and update the commission database to reflect changes in the compensation plans and personnel
  • Create ad hoc sales performance reports and dashboards
  • Review contracts to identify qualifying commissionable items
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy of commissionable bookings
  • Verify the accuracy of monthly commission calculations and reconcile discrepancies as needed
  • Research and provide proper explanations to questions by the sales organization
  • Other duties as assigned


Required Skills/Experience:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Experience with Xactly Incent is a plus
  • Strong Microsoft Excels skills with the ability to work with large and complex datasets
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees and across departments
  • Experience with enterprise accounting systems preferred
