We’re seeking an Accounting Associate to join our team. This person will work closely with our VP of Finance, with a focus on the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities

• Completes payments by receiving, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices
• Obtains revenue by verifying and completing receivable transactions
• Reconciles processed work by audit to system reports and balances
• Processes work by charging correct accounts and cost centers from Invoices
• Generates payments verifying amounts, id numbers, schedule, and proper documentation
• Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions
• Verifies vendor accounts
• Obtains revenue by verifying transaction information; invoicing; identifying delinquent accounts
• Resolves account discrepancies by investigating documentation
• Uses internal accounting controls to maintain financial security

Requirements

• Financial education a plus
• Minimum of 2 years experience
• Exceptionally detailed, organized and thorough
• Data Entry Skills
• Solid understanding of Excel and QuickBooks
