Position Overview and Responsibilities 

We are looking for an accounting lead to lead, track and evaluate day-to-day activities with our off-shore accounting team. Accounting lead responsibilities include establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting information. We are also looking for someone to work closely with our financial executive management team.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist/lead the month and year-end close process
Conduct monthly/quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
Accounts payable/receivable management
Conduct regulate General Ledger monthly review/maintenance
Delegate financial responsibilities to off-shore accounting team
Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
Coordinate and work with external audit teams
Meeting financial accounting objectives
Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
Assist in tax accounting compliance (federal and state reporting)
Works with Comptroller and COO on special projects

Required Experience:

4+ years’ experience in Accounting or relevant field
BS Degree in Accounting
Proven track record as Accounting Lead or Accounting Supervisor
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to function well in team-oriented environment
Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
Proven knowledge of GAAP accounting, best practices, standards, laws and regulations
High attention to detail and accuracy

SaaS Experience preferred
