The position
The Accounting Manager is a key member of the accounting team, leading the accounting for the Quote to Cash cycle. This is an opportunity to make a big impact in a rapidly growing organization. The position reports to the Director of Revenue on the Accounting team.
More about what you’ll be doing
You can expect to:
- Manage accounting for the Quote to Cash cycle
- Manage month-end close for revenue and accounts receivable
- Review and approve journal entries and account reconciliations to ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies
- Manage the monthly variance analysis to ensure revenue and related accounts are accurately and completely stated
- Help lead integration of acquired entities
- Take on projects to improve processes
The stuff you must have to give us a resume:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years relevant experience (1 year as a people leader)
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP
- Strong experience with GL and CRM software/systems (NetSuite and Salesforce preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills
- You are a problem solver with proven success improving processes and finding efficiencies
- You bring a sense of order to complex situations
- You are a fast, eager learner who drives tasks to completion
- You have a self-starter mindset and can thrive in ambiguity
