RetailMeNot is looking for an Accounting Specialist to join our Finance team. We need a highly motivated individual to perform the day-to-day management of all payment cycle activities in compliance with our financial policies and procedures.

Who You Are

• You have at least an Associates Degree in Accounting or minimum of 2-3 years related experience
• You have Workday software experience (a plus)
• You have a basic understanding of Accounting, as well as AP and AR subledgers
• You've got a strong ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• You're outgoing, organized and able to communicate well with team members at all levels

What You'll Do

• You'll enter invoices into our accounting software daily
• You'll ensure correct approval, coding and matching of invoices
• You'll enter bank transactions and deposit checks on a weekly basis
• You'll process 1099s at year-end
• You'll collect and maintain vendor and customer contact information
• You'll process settlement runs weekly
• You'll review expense reports to ensure compliance with travel and reimbursement policies
• You'll review and record credit card transactions
• You'll maintain the Fixed Assets subledger
• You'll also get the chance to work on some special projects
