We are seeking an Accounting Systems Administrator to join the Accounting department  This integral position will support the accounting team with developing new reporting, accounting liaison with Internal Systems, Business Intelligence for development changes, financial reporting and maintaining of the financial systems within W2O. This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced, global agency with over 1,300 employees across 15 US locations plus London.  Communicate system changes and enhancements from a business perspective – Superusers.

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage day-to-day workflow of projects related to system improvement initiatives, helping to define project goals, scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Communicate system changes and enhancements from a business perspective to business stakeholders
  • Collaborate with systems team to design, test and roll out enhancements and fixes to financial systems
  • Maintain NetSuite Financial System including integrations between OpenAir and NetSuite, to support business processes including adding/removal of accounts, items codes, posting of cost transfers, etc.
  • Create/Maintain financial reporting and dashboards within NetSuite and OpenAir
  • Coordinate project communications, providing updates and disseminating critical project information to team. 
  • Partner with the Systems and business stakeholders to create a synergistic team approach.
  • Understand current system set up and ensure company is optimizing NetSuite’s functionality
  • Review current accounting processes and recommend process improvements

Knowledge and Critical Skills/Expertise

  • Undergraduate Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, IT, or Finance.
  • Working knowledge of NetSuite.
  • Strong business analyst experience
  • Working knowledge of workflow and project management tools.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, able to tailor communications to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.

Experience

  • 2-3+ years of Accounting/Systems experience.
  • Experience in a large corporation with multiple subsidiaries and legal entities essential
  • Required experience with NetSuite
  • Knowledge of Open Air preferred
  • Demonstrated track record of managing projects from conception through completion.
  • Experience in global organization with multiple locations preferred.
  • Merger and Acquisition experience a plus.
