About the role:
The AP Specialist will be responsible for reviewing and coding invoices for accuracy, gaining approvals, preparing for weekly check runs and auditing expense reports.  Must have a strong sense of urgency and initiative to reach out to internal customers to gather information and approvals to complete the task. In addition, comfort communicating with our vendors to keep our accounts current to maintain a good relationship with vendors is key. This role reports onsite to our headquarters in Austin, TX. 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Process invoices from third parties
• Communicate with vendors about payment for their services
• Support internal policies and procedures and identify process improvements
• Perform ad hoc analyses and projects as needed
• Support AP Automation discovery and implementation process
• Assist in various audits (financial, banking, sales & use)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required
• Accounts payable experience
• Proficient in Excel
• Keen attention to detail
• Great time management and organizational skills
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Self-driven to succeed and thrive in a dynamic work environment
