The contract Accounts Receivable Analyst position is with a highly productive fast paced online publishing company operating with ecommerce partners. In this position, you will collaborate with merchant partners and our Sales teams to maintain accurate account records and monitor aged balances. You will be responsible for investigating delinquent accounts, contacting customers via verbal and written communications and preparing standardized reports.

Who You Are:

• You have either a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience.
• You have between 3-5 years accounts receivable/collections experience
• You have experience using databases and Workday or similar ERP.
• You are Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
• You are results focused, can work quickly and efficiently meeting deadlines in a fast paced environment while maintaining high quality standards.
• Proven problem solving skills, analytical abilities, and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• You have general business knowledge such as basic finance, marketing, sales and accounting.

What You'll Do:

• You will initiate the collection process of overdue accounts and contact customers via email and phone to collect payments in a timely manner.
• Maintain customer collection files to document collection efforts.
• Respond to customer requests for documentation which may include providing copies of orders, invoices and statements.
• Research and apply customer payments to account balances.
• Support the accounting close process as it relates to the proper recording of accounts receivable and reserves.
• Periodically prepare reports on analysis of accounts receivable and the status of collection activities as well as assist with projects to address internal/external customer needs as requested.
