WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

You will own and run our billing process. You will be responsible for processing incoming payments, researching outstanding billing items, generating invoices for Strategic and High Growth accounts, providing reporting to accounting and finance teams and overseeing the approval process for refunds. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee billing status of accounts by researching and resolving any billing inconsistencies and errors
  • Analyze billing data for reporting
  • Review billing process and recommend improvements where possible
  • Create invoices and custom billing materials to be sent directly to a customer
  • Review customer payment plans regularly for timely payments, follow up where necessary
  • Work with Strategic and High Growth customers to ensure prompt payment
  • Manage the Approval Process for concessions and refunds as well as issue refunds, collect on failed charges, and review payment disputes
  • Work with Finance to ensure proper period cut off for month end close procedures
  • Be the point person to answer billing related support cases 
  • Provide accurate, timely reporting to finance and accounting teams

YOUR BACKGROUND THAT LIKELY MAKES YOU A MATCH

  • 1-2 years of experience in a Billing or Billing-related role 
  • Independent self-starter and adaptable in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex financial matters
  • High attention to detail 
  • Ability to work well with ambiguity, solve problems and think on your feet
  • A good command of Excel and Google Sheets
