SpyCloud is seeking a Bookkeeper to support the corporate accounting function. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for recording of transactions and expense reports and will act as the primary contact with all the corporate vendors and customers in regards to billing issues. This position reports to the Accounting Manager.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Entry of vendor invoices and sales contracts into SpyCloud accounting software.
- Support the sales team by invoicing closed sales in a timely manner and communicating issues with sales contracts to the sales team.
- Follow up on customer invoices to ensure timely payment.
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payables.
- Reconcile credit card accounts and book correcting entries to ledger.
- Review expense reports, sales contracts, and vendor invoices for proper supporting documentation and approval.
- Support “best practices” regarding process flow for accounting-related activities (expense reports, purchasing, invoicing, etc.).
- Assist the Accounting Manager in meeting the requirements of the SpyCloud external auditors as well as any other audits by external agencies.
- File A/P and A/R records.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- 2+ years experience in a bookkeeping role.
- Accounting software usage, Xero, SaaS Optics, NetSuite, Bills.com, and Expensify all preferred but not required
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Highly organized and detailed oriented.
- Proven flexibility a must.
- Experience with Excel required
- Customer/Client focus, plus strong communication and interpersonal skills
