What You'll Do:
LogicMonitor is looking for a Chief Accounting Officer who will accelerate and own all global accounting, revenue operations, procurement, payroll and treasury functions. You will gain invaluable experience while scaling with the Company. You’ll be in a position with high visibility to LogicMonitor executive leadership and report to the Chief Financial Officer. You will be a key driver and enabler in the development of people, process, and technology while ensuring data is readily available for management decision making, legal compliance, and external reporting.

Here's a closer look at this key role:
- Manage all global accounting activities across the organization, to ensure compliance with GAAP, SEC regulations, statutory guidelines, and internal financial policies and procedures
- Optimize, improve, and manage month-end close processes, striving to deliver task automation and accuracy to meet public company rigor and requirements
- Develop, implement, and enforce accounting policies, internal controls, and procedures to manage business risk and adhere to regulatory and ethical standard
- Manage all external audit and tax filings for both US and International locations. Act as primary point of contact for auditors
- Collaborate closely with Sales Operations/Deal desk and Legal on deal guideline to meet Revenue Operations policy
- Provide financial guidance on technical accounting and financial reporting requirement
- Guide financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures
- Support the executive team in driving best practices across the Company related to corporate governance, ethical standards, and sustainable business practices
- Manage and meet tight deadlines in a hyper-growth environment
- 15+ years of relevant accounting experience required, preferably in fast-growth technology/SaaS company
- 3+ years of experience in an accounting leadership (director or above) capacity at public company
- Proven track record of developing people, leading and managing high-performing teams
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to express complex accounting concepts, and recommendations to executive leadership and board
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and proven experience in cross-functional business partnering
- Ability to manage the big picture and roll up the sleeves to dive into details
- Have high business ethics standard
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field, CPA required
- Experience with a Big 4 or other national accounting firm required
- Experience in leading a company through an IPO process as Corporate Controller or Chief Accounting Officer a plus
