Job Summary

We have a great new opportunity on our Swoop team at Real Chemistry and are hiring a Client Finance Manager to expand our nimble Finance team and provide our business partners with new levels of support and guidance. The Client Finance Manager will be a close partner and advisor to our Sales leadership, Legal Counsel, and Account Team. The candidate will manage all financial aspects of the business segment and maintain client contracts and scope of work development, revenue recognition, revenue forecasts, and critical management reporting. We seek a proactive problem solver and empathetic communicator who is passionate about fostering collaborative relationships. This role is ideal for someone with a strong financial background who is eager to continuously improve processes and maximize efficiency for the utmost benefit of our business partners and customers.

This role can be fully remote or in any of our US offices, including New York City, Philadelphia, Boston, Chicago, Austin, San Francisco, or Florham Park, NJ.


  • Oversee SOW reviews for core Legal and Finance considerations.

  • Work cross-functionally to ensure all financial elements of the client relationship are managed, tracked, and monitored in line with scope of work.

  • Assist with recurring monthly and quarterly reporting, budgeting, and forecasting in partnership with department leaders.

  • Manage performance dashboards and reconcile client revenue activity versus projections to develop informed variance analysis and insightful recommendations.

  • Support internal partners with timely input and ad hoc analysis to keep the business moving forward briskly and smoothly.

  • Lead special projects and improvements to existing processes as the company continues to grow and scale.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a relevant field.

  • 5+ years of professional experience in Client/Corporate Finance with strong understanding of a professional services organization.

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, accounting processes, controls, and compliance.

  • Confidence in reviewing and negotiating client contracts with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Experience in various data applications and ERPs (Excel, Looker, QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.).

  • Able to calmly manage and prioritize time sensitive duties.

  • Must possess and exercise sound judgement and a high level of integrity as an independent contributor and leader.

  • A self-starter who can multitask, think creatively to formulate solutions, and adapt effortlessly in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong team collaborator with all levels of colleagues, management, and external stakeholders.
