Who are we looking for?

360training.com is seeking a full-time SEO Manager to join our Marketing team. We are looking for a team player who can help scale our SEO initiatives to grow organic traffic and further establish our brand online. He/she will also work very closely with our Content Manager, so successful candidates will have experience collaborating to develop strategies that will exceed SEO goals.

Additionally, he/she will serve as the SEO expert and is responsible for staying up to date with the rapidly changing search engine marketing landscape, including Google, Bing, Yahoo, and other leaders in search.

 

Essential functions and responsibilities, include:

  • Develop and implement strategic roadmaps to achieve short-term and long-term SEO objectives, which include key initiatives and strategies, as well as detailed timing and tactics
  • Provide site audit and SEO analysis and recommendations for optimization of website structure and web pages
  • Understand and be able to demonstrate how SEO goals fit into larger e-commerce and B2B marketing strategies
  • Develop and implement link building strategy
  • Assist Content Manager, PR Agency, and Product Managers in developing shareable, engaging content that supports earned media objectives, is on brand, and is optimized for search rankings and backlinking
  • Use data insights to help identify low performing content and work with Content Manager to develop a plan to optimize and fix it
  • Mentor the Content Manager and provide hands on opportunities to impact the business through key data-driven projects
  • Identify and fix technical SEO issues on the website
  • Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing and make those changes in different platforms.
  • Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization
  • Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations
  • Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code
  • Partner with Website Operations Manager to recommend changes to site architecture, page speed, content gap analysis, site migrations and redesigns, indexing / crawl errors, canonicalization, schema.org, and other factors to improve SEO positions

 

Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • BA/BS in marketing or advertising or a related area.
  • 5-7 years of experience in the area of organic search.
  • 2-3 years supervisory and agency management experience
  • Experience with Google and Bing’s services, including Analytics and Webmaster Tools.
  • A functional understanding of HTML and CSS.
  • The ability to work with back-end SEO elements such as .htaccess, robots.txt, metadata, site speed optimization, and related skills.
  • A deep understanding of mobile and SEM strategy, and how it relates to SEO.
  • Experience in building inbound organic search traffic and improving SERPs.
  • A background in creating reports showing web analytics data and site evaluations.
  • Experience managing long-tail search strategies and/or analyzing large data sets.
  • Outstanding ability to think creatively, strategically, and identify and resolve problems.
  • Familiar with other industry leading tools

Our office is located less than two miles from Austin's famous Pennybacker Bridge on Capital of Texas Hwy with amazing views of the hills of Austin.
