Bridgepoint Consulting, An Addison Group Company, is adding talent to it's Austin-based team of Professional Accounting Consultants!

We are currently seeking experienced Controllers who want to join an amazing team of talented Consultants, tasked with supporting our clients in a wide range of interim and project-based Accounting needs.

Our clients consist of start-up to mid-sized companies covering a variety of industries based in the Austin (and greater central Texas) area. Bridgepoint Consultants provide services onsite at the client’s location and function as part of their team throughout the duration of each project. 

Consultants at the Controller level work closely with clients by providing critical senior financial management & accounting services while delivering the highest levels of professionalism and client service.  They partner with a variety of individuals to achieve client success, including but not limited to CEOs, executive teams, bankers, private equity firms, legal advisers and investors.  Our Consultants thrive in new environments and help companies execute growth strategies, take on new initiatives and implement processes & improvements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with a minimum of 3 (most recent) years as a Controller

• Has managed the operations of an accounting department (also IT, HR, Operations departments, etc., a plus)

• Proficient at budgeting and forecasting with complex, dynamic financial models
• Has maintained and/or implemented effective internal controls 
• Direct experience working with venture capital and private equity investors
• Industry experience in start-ups, technology, SaaS & Big Four/public accounting is highly preferred
• Strong desire for consulting style work and delivering excellent client service
• B.A. or B.S. required
• CPA and/or MBA preferred
• Willingness to travel throughout the "Texas Triangle" highly preferred
