Director, Corporate Real Estate & Operations
Summary:
Q2 is seeking a Director, Corporate Real Estate & Services, to develop and lead Q2's global workplace and facilities strategy. In this role, you'll lead a team that helps deliver on strategic priorities and the daily execution for current operations. You will be accountable for planning and influencing the direction of Q2's real estate footprint and ensuring the high-quality delivery of services for our campuses and employees – through your team and the numerous vendors we engage. You'll be responsible for entering and exiting global markets, along with the acquisition or disposition of new assets in those markets. Success will require a solid understanding of global trends, financial acumen, and portfolio management skills.

In this role, you'll:
Hire, develop, and lead a high-performing team of professionals that will manage and execute numerous projects and programs across multiple disciplines.
Hold team and self to high standards on the execution of strategic and tactical responsibilities.
Anticipate market changes and employee changes by studying trends, networking broadly to understand the competitive landscape, with respect to employee expectations.
Develop, gain alignment, and execute occupancy strategies that solve the challenges inherent with a high-growth business. Provide reporting for facilities globally and direct site-planning efforts, secure related project approvals, and manage approved projects to successful conclusions.
Be responsible for site acquisition, due diligence, negotiations of transaction documents, permitting, and build-out of a variety of locations across the workplaces.
Oversee leases, acquisitions/dispositions, site selection, construction, evaluation, and property management.
Provide overall leadership and accountability for strategic planning, portfolio alignment, metrics, reporting, and utilization.
Lead real estate aspects of bid and proposal efforts and current contract re-competes/bid & proposal to maintain existing contracts while growing new business, pricing
Oversee all financial planning, budgeting, and related management tasks. Provide applicable project cost estimates for capital planning purposes.
Define metrics and maintain a thorough understanding of the finances, monthly accruals, and cash-flow forecasts. Develop operational and capital cost containment strategies.
Liaise between stakeholders to ensure high customer service standards with all suppliers and stakeholders, promoting transparency and accountability across all necessary arrangements.
Qualifications & Experiences:
Bachelor's degree in business or related field required OR demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Ideally, 15+ years' experience in workplace strategies, facilities management, real estate finance, corporate services, or program management
5+ years of experience in people management, supplier/vendor contract management, and project management.
A leader who drives results through inspiration, accountability, and empathic leadership
Knowledge of OSHA (and similar) guidelines and expertise managing the response to disruptive events.
Strong communications (written and verbal) skills, including solid negotiation, presentation, and consultation skills.
Strong financial acumen, discipline, and analysis with a firm understanding of financial statements and business economics and the ability to apply such an understanding in a manner that results in excellent decision making.
Proven track record of sound decision making, taking ownership and delivering results in a leadership role.
