As the Director Of Financial Transformation for Babylon, you will be responsible for driving the strategy of Babylon’s finance and accounting team, specifically as it relates to establishing and executing a strategic vision for automation initiatives and enhancing the capabilities of existing financial systems.

Babylon is maturing rapidly through a combination of organic growth, substantial M&A activity, and becoming a US-listed company. This role shall take the lead on transforming the global Babylon finance organization by establishing a roadmap for a formal financial systems strategy, managing the governance process for financial system changes, and enhancing data quality inputs for financial KPI reporting.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

• Establish and execute a global financial road map that can be applied globally to optimize financial systems, business system interfaces and automate processes to reflect growth driven by organic and inorganic transaction activity
• Collaborate with the Babylon Corporate Development team on M&A activities and be the finance representative on M&A steering groups relating to pre and post-acquisition responsibilities relating to financial integration systems strategy
• Partner with Babylon’s accounting, FP&A, Product, Technology, and RPA teams on system and automation initiatives across systems that include those relating to accounting, financial planning, procurement, and payroll
• Drive a global approach to financial automation and technology initiatives that appropriately prioritizes and balances different regional stakeholders inputs
• Manage a team of dedicated financial system, data, and automation experts
• Oversee a formalized, SOX compliant governance structure for ITGC’s relating to financial reporting that is aligned with the strategy of the Information Security and Risk Compliance team
• Effective prioritization and execution of initiatives to replace manual controls with automated controls and standardize system reports

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Accounting/finance qualification and +10 years post qualification experience 
• Proven track record of successfully embedding automation to enhance financial processes and driving financial transformation either in a consulting capacity or within the industry
• Strong effective communicator across peers and to leadership teams
• Ability to project manage significant financial transformation initiatives, problem-solve and turn high ambiguity into actionable insight
• Mature attitude and collaborative approach
• Comfortable working in high growth and fast-paced environment
• Netsuite and/or Adaptive Insights experience strongly preferred
• Experience in developing financial processes in high growth, newly public company environment preferred
• Compassionate and caring towards others. They respect the views and ideas of others
• Works in a straight-forward, strategic, collaborative, and inclusive way and is non-political
