ABOUT THE ROLE

The Fee Configuration Manager will manage the fee schedule workflow between all Bright Health and Third Party Administrators. They will be responsible for ensuring data accuracy, load timeliness, supporting output management, development, and troubleshooting. In addition, they will work with network contracting to build out operational standards, policies, and template language for use by provider contracting team.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Report, monitor and manages Fee Configuration team workload including but not limited to timely and accurately loading, quality checking, and fee-related claim pend inventory
  • Collaborate with Provider Data to ensure timely mapping of fee schedules to providers in accordance to the contract
  • Acts as the subject matter expert for internal teams and vendors on fee schedule data/issues, contract interpretation/operationalization and the fee configuration workflow for professional and facility provider contracts
  • Participates in cross-department forums, building collaborative relationships, to analyze business opportunities and address critical issues in support of Bright’s corporate, financial and market objectives
  • Focus on areas particularly in vendor management and provider contract standardization
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures in accordance with the above

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • This position has supervisory responsibilities for the Fee Configuration specialists

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • Preferred Bachelors Degree, MBA or Masters Degree in HealthCare Administration or health-related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience at a health insurance company working in configuration management and network operations or provider relations

PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES

  • Expert knowledge and experience in fee schedule development, configuration, and management for provider contracts covering complex hospital systems, integrated delivery systems and large physician groups
  • Expert in Microsoft Excel; Experience with Power BI, Jira Ticketing, Sharepoint a plus
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills that can produce conclusive recommendations and subsequent actions quickly and accurately
