Finance Sales Controller
Q2 is seeking a Finance Sales Controller to join the Finance & Accounting team. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key business partner with CRO to drive key initiatives and process improvements across the global sales organization
Integral role in budgeting and forecasting the business
Provide actionable insights to more drive growth and organizational effectiveness
Consolidate and analyze operational and financial information and trends from internal and external sources to drive a connection with actions across the organization and financial outcomes
Strong communication skills with frequent interaction with senior-level leaders across the organization
Ability to help structure deals and interface with customers
Identify operational and financial trends and leads analysis to proactively address business issues
Drive enhancement of policies, procedures, and business practices that improve efficiency within the function and the business
Key role in setting sales quotas and development of sales compensation plans to align business results with corporate objectives and strategy
Constant focus on process improvement
Knowledge of pricing process and ways to drive value-based pricing
Responsible for ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy policies and controls are adhered to within the sales organization
Work closely with the accounting team to ensure actual expenses are within budget and recorded appropriately
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:
Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
15+ years experience in a Finance or Sales Operations related role
Strong business partnership and communication skills
Previous experience in the Software Industry preferred
Strong knowledge of financial principles and accounting/budgeting practices
Strong analytical skills and ability to identify trends and indicators of future performance
Ability to solve complex problems with creative solutions
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Prior experience with Salesforce and Power BI preferred
Background in financial services, information technology, and/or software is a definite advantage, particularly SaaS, including software revenue recognition
