As part of this dynamic team, the Sales Finance and Analytics department is seeking a finance professional who is familiar with a variety of financial concepts, practices, and procedures. We seek a self-starter who embraces challenges and can rely on his/her experience, educational background and sound judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
The Sr Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing sound financial judgment and analytical insight to daily Sales performance across multiple areas including operating forecasts, variance analysis, administration of agent compensation, and strategic initiative sizing. The successful candidate will be a strong communicator and ability to work cross-functionally with business intelligence to drive automation in business performance reporting. A strong sense of ownership and a critical eye is crucial for success in role.
The ideal candidate will be extremely hands-on while possessing a strong sense of ownership to drive the business with the mindset of continuous improvement.
What you'll do:• Work closely and under the daily supervision of the Sales Finance Lead in monitoring business performance with distinct ownership of monitoring trends and proactively performing ad-hoc analyses that drive actionable insights and influence decision making• Support building monthly, quarterly, and annual Sales operating plans inclusive of bookings and operating expense• Build monthly sales goals for multiple sales cohorts while ensuring they align with forecasted commitments• Develop a deep understanding of the incentive compensation models• Create, maintain, and enhance month end reporting for the senior leadership team across Sales and Finance• Support reporting automation in partnership with Business Intelligence by way of Tableau dashboards• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance value add output to business partners
Qualifications:• 3+ years of experience with progressive sales finance controllership, preferably with Technology or Software industries• Forecast and variance analysis experience within operational environments• Sales compensation administration and analytics• Experience with multiple sales comp platforms, Anaplan highly desired• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving, and data driven organization
