Main Purpose
This role is a temporary role due to a seasonal increase in volume - the end date for this role is projected to be January, 2023.
Part of the Finance Team, the Financial Operations Specialist - or FinOps Specialist for short - will ensure that the organization is recording accurate time and attendance via the Flex platform in order to deliver an accurate, seamless payment experience to our Flexers, partners, and clients while supporting the overall billing process for client invoices.
Responsibilities & Duties

  • Utilize multiple sources of data to reconcile time and attendance (T&A) between client and Flexer punches on ERP system for completed shifts
  • Use automated and manual uploads to import time cards for clients not currently utilizing the Indeed Flex ERP system
  • Receive, address, and resolve issues, concerns, and queries raised by Flexer and clients regarding time and pay-related matters to meet prescribed SLAs
  • Collaborate closely with specific clients to report and reconcile relevant T&A data within prescribed SLAs
  • Provide auxiliary support to the Billing and Payroll functions, sharing and reporting relevant data, raising accurate invoices, and supporting closing and remittance of payroll as needed
  • Maintain performance expectations for individual targets while supporting overall finance team goals through continuous improvement and support
  • Interface with stakeholders: Flexers, clients, partners, and internal groups to drive process improvements, streamline data gathering, reduce manual entries, and improve overall efficiency and accuracy of Finance Operations
  • Support on ad hoc projects to identify and drive efficiencies and process improvements


Requirements
Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum one (1) year of experience supporting Finance Operations with preference to those with experience in a start-up environment, staffing industry, or an asynchronous, tech-driven SaaS or Marketplace supporting B2B and B2C revenue streams
  • High level of technical acumen to navigate a suite of software related to completing daily tasks including ERP System, Payroll System(s), HRIS, Timekeeping System, Slack, Monday.com, Salesforce.com, Google WorkPlace, Microsoft Office, etc
  • Highly proficient navigating the financial operations in a multi-function, multi-discipline organization with various federal, state, and local compliance requirements
  • Demonstrated excellence in providing strong customer service in a B2B or B2C setting
  • Highly attentive to details and able to recognize and correct discrepancies and errors
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with a diverse, distributed workforce and multiple stakeholders from various functions at all levels of the organization
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities and complete routine tasks as well as large, complex projects in a timely manner
