The first big decision we’re tackling is homebuying and selling. We are building an end-to-end real estate platform which provides consumers personalized guidance throughout their journey, readying them to make meaningful connections with experts. In addition, we provide brokers, agents, and loan officers warm and informed introductions to consumers, along with the tools to support a best-in-class experience.

About the OJO Finance Team

The Finance team is small but highly effective. We strive to provide valuable information to our stockholders through financial performance graphics and insight, as well as accurate and timely financial statements. We are the team behind the curtains that keep the business running financially. The work is not always behind the curtains though, many of our responsibilities require coordination across all departments in the organization. The foundation of our work is built on attention to detail, analytics, research, and problem solving. We value what makes you different and encourage you to act on your ideas.

What you'll do

• Help drive financial planning for OJO and its subsidiaries by establishing annual operating plans, updating monthly projections, and developing reporting procedures
• Identify, track, and manage key performance metrics across departments
• Analyze financial and operational results and deliver actionable insights on company performance to executives, senior leaders, and OJO’s Board of Directors
• Partner with leaders across the business to develop frameworks, dashboards, and ad-hoc analysis to influence strategic decisions
• Assist with the development of board presentations, investor reporting, bank compliance, and other management reporting
• Support M&A and broader corporate development initiatives as needed

What we need from you

• Alignment with OJO’s core values: Embrace Discovery, Relentlessly Improve, Be Fearless, Hire Great, Be Compassionate
• 3+ years of experience in Accounting, Corporate Development, Corporate FP&A, Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Venture Capital 
• Excellent Excel modeling skills and the ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations for key stakeholders
• Familiarity with accounting principles and financial reporting
• Strong verbal and written skills and a keen attention to detail
• Experience working on small teams and an ability to manage competing priorities effectively 
• Bachelor's degree in Finance and/or Accounting preferred
• Software or technology experience and understanding of SaaS business operating frameworks a plus
