The Investor Services team supports the Investment Management division by delivering a best in class experience to our investors across our single-family rental strategies. This team serves as the expert in reporting fund performance to the investor base, keeping all internal and external stakeholders informed through accurate and timely reporting and communications. The team seeks a Manager to join and serve a growing investor base.

The Investor Services Manager will play a critical role in the continuing growth and support of the expanding client service efforts across Amherst’s product offerings, collaborating with teams across the platform including Investment Management, Asset Management, Finance and Accounting, and Business Intelligence.

 Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc deliverables, ensuring timeliness and accuracy
  • Oversight and sign off of final investor reporting and KPI materials prior to management review
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Amherst’s systems and processes to support/service client relationships. Identify opportunities to create efficiencies within these processes
  • Develop new reports as needed/requested to provide timely and accurate information to decision-makers. Maintain an accurate inventory of reports and any modifications. Take corrective action to optimize or improve the performance of the reports when necessary
  • Work with senior management and investors to evaluate and clarify requests. Offer alternative solutions when applicable
  • Create presentations, investment summaries, and other ad-hoc materials
  • Maintain information on market and competitor developments. Undertake market and competitor analysis (both quantitative and qualitative) as appropriate
  • Update and manage contact, account, and related information in the CRM
  • Responsible for the production and coordination of investor presentation materials
  • Serve as needed as a day-to-day resource for members of the investment community

Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years’ experience in investor reporting or investor services function
  • Detail-oriented, meticulous, and intellectually curious
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; this role will interact with senior management
  • Demonstrated time management and organization skills
  • Ability to manage multiples tasks, prioritize and meet strict deadlines
  • High energy, driven, proactive
  • Proven analytical skills and ability to transform abstract ideas into clear, well-organized deliverables
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel. Experience with Tableau and SQL desired
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (business, accounting, finance, economics) preferred
