SUMMARY

Manager of Settlement Accounting and Pricing will assure the reliability of the settlement process and, analyze interchange pricing to maximize revenue and streamline costs of the Payment Product.

Director of Compliance 


JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.

  • The Settlement and Payments Manager will maintain Squire’s overall settlement flow and daily deposits from the sponsor bank to each Squire sub-merchant in concert with the finance team.
  • They will work across the organization with various departments to assure the reconciliation of chargebacks, ACH rejections, fraud holds and help resolve processing issues.   
  • While coordinating with the Product, Payments and Finance Leadership, they will create a corporate strategic pricing model for the payment product. 
  • Through analysis, the Settlement and Payments Manager will create efficiencies that will maximize profit while reducing redundancies and costs. 
  • Create reports that identify processing trends within the business segment, and monthly reporting for the finance team.
  • Work with Compliance to implement special compliance programs that Squire shops may qualify for to lower costs.
  • Provide Periodic Reviews of high volume, medium to higher risk sub-merchants.  
  • The duties and responsibilities outlined above are not a comprehensive list and additional tasks may be assigned from time to time based on business needs and some business travel may be required. 


REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor Degree in Business or Finance and 10+ experience working in the above role, plus any additional relevant certification. 
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. payments interchange guidelines and card payment rules.
  • Strong business acumen, leadership skills with an ability for dynamic partnerships across departments.
  • Experience working with Sponsor Banks.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.  
  • Detail-oriented and data-driven. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks
