Cart.com has grown rapidly and is looking for a Manager, Strategic Finance & Business Operations who will partner with our SaaS business leaders (including marketing, sales, delivery, and FP&A) to further accelerate our growth. You will help to define business roadmaps and key metrics, build the annual operating plan, lead qualitative and quantitative analyses to inform strategic decisions, identify initiatives, develop workplans, and execute accordingly to drive top-line growth and efficiency.


The ideal candidate is a self-starter who exemplifies ownership, enjoys delivering impact in fast-paced environments, and is a world-class partner to leaders and teams. This person will report to and be mentored by the VP of Finance & Operations and be a key member of our greater Finance team.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner closely with our SaaS business leaders (including marketing, sales, and delivery) to define business roadmaps and identify & execute on initiatives to drive financial impact
  • Develop and maintain accurate near- and long-term financial operating plans (with our FP&A team), providing updated projections for key revenue streams and expenditures
  • Define key metrics, work with Internal Analytics team to track, and draw insights from trends
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative (data-driven) analyses to solve problems and evaluate value creation initiatives, unit economics, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Create scalable processes and reporting as needed to enhance financial visibility
  • Understand sales funnel and collaborate with revenue operations to improve conversion
  • Build consensus and present recommendations (written and oral) to senior management
  • Ultimately, adopt ownership mindset for our SaaS business and ensure its continued growth

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in strategic finance, finance, business operations, and/or top investment banking, management consulting, or venture capital firm
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities, including advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with high growth SaaS-based companies, including financial models and KPIs
  • Cross-functional experience partnering with multiple VP+ stakeholders
  • Familiarity with Startups and Startup work environments a big plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, economics, and/or accounting

Bonus Points:

  • MBA or Master’s in Finance nice to have
  • Prior experience using Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, and Tableau a plus

Our headquarters is located in Austin, Tx at the address listed. The majority of our roles are flexible hybrid for employees who live within the cities where we have offices and remote for employees who are not located in those cities.
