Responsibilities

- Strategy: Develop insights, define metrics and operationalize insights that drive key business decisions and solutions. Use analytics to measure performance, build dashboards and examine areas of potential improvement in detail.

- Planning and Forecasting: Develop long term plans and drive monthly forecast updates based on business and operational drivers. Assess the financial health and effectiveness of operations initiatives, using key financial ratios common to SaaS companies and marketplaces

- Analysis: Conduct quick and high quality analysis and presentations using SQL, advanced Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint skills

- Business Intelligence: Frame and conduct analyses required to deliver data driven decision-making using of data and systems (e.g., databases, data warehouses and business intelligence tools)

- Reporting: Collaborate across Marketplace Operations to build dashboards and recommend actions to drive growth and efficiency. 


Qualifications

- 4+ Years of Experience in Investment Banking, Consulting, Analytics, or FP&A

- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Management Information Systems, or related degree

- Proficient in SQL, Business Intelligence tools, and Excel/Google Sheets

- Adaptable self-starter comfortable working in a startup where things move at lightning speed

- Bonus points for understanding of marketplace dynamics, capacity management/analysis, or forecasting/planning in a marketplace context

- Clear communicator with ability to weave qualitative and quantitative information to build compelling narratives

- Experience managing, mentoring, and growing a team is a plus

- Located in Austin preferred, but not required
