The Finance team is responsible for improving strategic and financial decision-making across the company. We maintain WP Engine's operating model, strategic plans and capital allocation decisions, and think a lot about strategy. Business partners will rely on you for insight and trust you to help tackle hard problems. In this role you will partner with business leaders and broader teams on analysis and reporting of results to drive key strategic business objectives. Being a self-starter, intellectually curious, data driven and focused on accuracy will be key to your success.

The Day to Day

  • Build and maintain all revenue reports and work with teams across the company to develop and streamline company-wide revenue reporting
  • Develop new metrics to measure our business, and create tools/reports to track these metrics
  • Present recommendations based on findings from your work to leadership and key stakeholders
  • Work with other analysts on the Finance team and across departments to ensure data integrity
  • Support ad hoc analysis, research, and data collection efforts
  • Provide overall support for the revenue team and growth strategy

Your Expertise and Passion

  • 2+ years in a data and/or financial analytics role or equivalent academic background
  • Strong business acumen and critical thinking skills
  • A quantitative mindset and passion for data and technology
  • Ability to present data in a concise and digestible manner
  • Some exposure to SQL for analysis and data manipulation is preferred
  • Able to deal with ambiguity and problem-solve independently
  • Strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal relationship skills
  • Strong work ethic and time management skill
  • A Bachelor's degree in quantitative field (economics, statistics, business, computer science) or equivalent experience
