As the leading provider of lifestyle services to the multifamily industry, we offer daily chores and housekeeping services to more than 450,000 apartment homes across the US, and we work with 65 of the top apartment managers in the country. Through the Spruce app, apartment residents can easily have their clothes folded, their dishes washed, their bed sheets changed, or their bathroom cleaned. Venture-backed and headquartered in Austin, Spruce has more than 75 employees and is growing rapidly. We promote a people-first culture where curiosity, ownership, and boldness are valued and encouraged. Each employee has a personal, measurable impact on the success of the company, and ideas are welcome from everyone. We promote a culture of data-driven decision-making, where team members of all levels are expected and empowered to challenge the status quo. Spruce is remote-first and there is no requirement to come to the office. That said, our headquarters is in East Austin and is available to all team members.

  • Play a lead role in the annual planning, monthly forecasting process, and quarterly board meeting preparation.
  • Support the Series B fundraise, subsequent fundraises, and other M&A activities.
  • Maintain and improve existing models, while developing and introducing new analytical frameworks that enhance insights.
  • Work closely with the data team and our BI tool (Looker) to help us better tie the operational metrics of the company to financial performance.
  • Partner closely with Strategy & Operations and other groups to effectively direct strategy and analyze performance on key initiatives.

  • Experience working in roles where critical thinking and analytical problem solving are used on a daily basis.
  • Exceptional financial modeling skills and high proficiency in Excel.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and proactively finding problems to solve.
  • Knowledge of SQL is a plus, but wicked smart is just as good.
