Dropoff is looking for a Senior Sales Operations & Business Intelligence Analyst ( Sr. Analyst) to support functions essential to sales, marketing and operations productivity. The person in this role will be responsible for planning, reporting, forecasting, sales process optimization, pipeline management, lead generation funnel reporting, and sales program implementation.  The Sr. Analyst is responsible for the productivity and effectiveness of the sales and marketing team and all the analysis associated with it. The Sr. Analyst oversees the company’s “deal desk” and works closely with sales and operations to establish new customer pricing. The role also supports dashboarding and reporting for operational KPIs. The role requires a great team player who is willing to work hard and can partner well with others across the organization while also seeing the bigger picture about how the role supports the company’s goals. The Sr. Analyst reports to the CFO.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the CRM and enforce sales processes to ensure timeliness and accuracy of CRM data

  • Conduct impactful analyses on major revenue and product trends, including vertical/sub-vertical performance, product adoption, leading revenue indicators, productivity, and sales effectiveness

  • Work with Sales and Operations teams in order to accurately price Dropoff services to maximize value

  • Review point of sale data, market data, and internal sell-in data to provide complete analysis of the health of each category

  • Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis, data visualization, and data-mining to tell the story behind numbers

  • Integrate and analyze data from various sources to create meaningful decision-making analytics

  • Continuously seeks opportunities to improve existing processes to increase service level, productivity, promoting sales growth and delivering operational excellence. 

  • Coordinate sales forecast and planning process by proactively monitoring and maintaining high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales team’s planning and forecasting efforts

  • Assist sales management to make data-backed business decisions to drive performance and increase efficiencies

  • Partner with Finance to review customer sales and determine overall profitability by customer, segment, and market

  • Manage the sales pipeline to ensure each is lean, current, and active.

  • Build and monitor the accuracy and efficient distribution of data, sales reports, dashboards, and other business intelligence to the sales and operations teams

  • Work closely with management to support quarterly planning for sales quotas and commission plans and track, analyze, and report sales by rep against quotas and commissions

  • Work with the accounting team to ensure accurate commission calculations

  • Liaise with the engineering team on cross-functional integration projects impacting information flow between the CRM, the Dropoff Platform, and financial reporting systems

  • Communicate clearly in both written and spoken forms and can translate complex concepts across business and technology contexts

Requirements

  • Four-year college degree

  • Expert with Excel/Google Sheets

  • 3-5 years of Business Intelligence/Sales Operations 

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Strong communication skills

  • Tableau experience 

  • SalesForce experience 

  • Positive attitude and a team player

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
