Job purpose

The senior accountant position is responsible for general ledger accounting and financial reporting. The accountant is also responsible for handling some cash management, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

Duties and responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger accounting and financial reporting
• Assist with revenue cycle (invoicing, revenue recognition, contract review)
• Execute monthly close process including balance sheet and income statement review
• Assist with cash management
• Work with finance team to prepare for GAAP audit and various tax filings
• Other accounting and finance-related tasks as needed
• Communicate with co-workers, management, clients and others in a courteous and professional manner.
• Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Accounting or Finance or related field 
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
• NetSuite experience a plus
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Authorization to work in the United States.
