Job Summary

We have an exciting new role and are looking for a Senior Treasury Analyst – Cash Operations. This position is responsible for assisting the US Controller in maintaining and controlling the daily cash balances of the Real Chemistry and assisting in the management of all banking relationships. In addition, the Senior Treasury Analyst – Cash Management assists the US Controller in investing surplus funds in short-term marketable securities or in arranging potential short-term financing through its revolving credit facility.

This role can be hybrid remote in New York or New Jersey, with ability to work in the Florham Park, NJ office a minimum of two days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily cash, which includes managing account balances in cash management servicing banks, lockbox arrangement, and cash transfers:

    • Manage daily disbursement of funds to trade creditors

    • Manage cash flows

    • Monitor daily positions

    • Assist in the investment of short-term cash, if necessary

    • Assist in cash flow and interest expense forecasting

    • Serve as Liaison with internal customers (i.e., Legal, Human Resources, Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, etc.)

  • Assist in the preparation of bank reporting requirements which includes all daily, weekly, and monthly reporting requirements under various debt obligations (i.e., Borrowing Base, Collateral Requirements, Debt Compliance, Bank Reporting Packages etc.).

  • Bank Liaison, which includes assisting in managing all banking relationships (i.e., Purchasing and T&E Card programs, Merchant Accounts, Letters of Credit, and Depository Control Agreements).

  • Assist US Controller in all other Treasury related projects.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience in a Treasury/Finance environment.

  • Knowledge of Treasury Vocabulary used in Credit Agreements, Letter of Credit, Loan Agreements, etc.

  • Knowledge of banking systems and cash management process.

  • Strong proficiency in all standard computer applications, including Microsoft Word and PowerPoint; advanced knowledge of Excel essential.

  • Understanding of Real Chemistry’s cash cycle and that it is essential in projecting the company’s daily cash position.

  • Ability to retrieve information from a variety of sources and convert data into meaningful analysis.

  • Solid financial analysis and financial forecasting skills.

  • Critical Thinking Skills to help identify gaps in controls and systems and make recommendations for improvements.

  • Ability to learn and excel in a variety of business functional areas, maintaining a general, working knowledge of company policy and procedures.

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills with ability to multitask and wear many hats on a day-to-day basis, managing multiple projects and deadlines.

  • Strong attention to detail/accuracy, with ability to produce high quality results consistently.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to present and tailor communication to a variety of internal and external audiences.

  • Positive attitude with ability to build strategic, working relationships in a collaborative team environment.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting; CTP or MBA a plus.
