Cloudflare’s Sourcing Specialist is responsible for administrating our procurement policies and processes, as well as purchasing vital goods and services at optimal pricing and managing indirect commodities. We are looking for an experienced professional that will be responsible for the execution of the end-to-end procurement process and conducting supplier management activities. Role will function as the internal point of contact for key business functions such as contracts, RFPs, and projects. The key objective of this position is to understand cost drivers of spend, ensure strict adherence to the procure to pay process, leverage buying power while ensuring required service quality and supplier performance are maintained with a high degree of customer (internal business units) satisfaction. The Sourcing Specialist will play a key role in P2P process administration and report request(s) fulfillment. This position requires dedicated problem solving and customer relations. The role reports to the Procurement Manager.
The Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for supporting end-to-end procurement activities, including: internal customer support, supplier relations, spend monitoring/spend management initiatives, and cost savings reporting, RFPs, RFIs, QBRs, and RFQs, quarterly reporting of purchase commitments, contract review and negotiation, contract implementation/compliance, including tracking unconditional purchase commitments for reporting purposes.What you'll do
In this role you will coordinate internal stakeholder meetings and supplier relations. You will provide qualitative and quantitative analysis to aid in metrics-driven negotiations and vendor selection. Additionally, you will develop and manage reporting tools and excel models, tracking and reporting key metrics while leading procurement administration efforts. Assist with the preparation and review of vendor contracts, quotes, and proposals ensuring bilateral commercial terms & conditions. You will partner with Legal and Security teams during new vendor on-boarding to ensure business requirements are met at engagement onset. Facilitate Purchase Requisition to Purchase Order creation.
Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 6 years’ experience in a Finance or Procurement function.
- APICS/CPIM/CPSM certification preferred.
- Experience with Marketing, Finance, and HR commodities.
- Metrics driven, with the ability to exercise judgment and operate independently.
- Ability to prioritize requests and communicate effectively in a deadline driven environment.
- Knowledge of terms and conditions and commercial contract terms.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Coupa software is desired.
- Ironclad or similar CLM software is desired.
