Sr. Accounts Payable Specialist

Responsibilities:
- Full cycle accounts payable to include:
- Timely and accurate processing of domestic and international vendor invoices via accounting system
- Review and Self-assess use tax as required on domestic invoices
- Ensure international VAT taxes are entered per country standards
- Coordinate review/approvals of third-party professional service invoices with SailPoint CPS Operations and ensure paid in accordance with contract
- Facilitate semi-weekly vendor payments based on due dates
- Learn and understand AP controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Research and respond to internal and external business partner inquiries relating to payment issues, past due items, AP processes, etc.
- Review and reconcile supplier statements to ensure no outstanding items
- Review and accurate submission of annual 1099 filing
- Monthly close responsibilities, to include reconciliations
- Assist with projects and process development
- Assist with various financial, statutory and other required audits
Required Skills/Experience
- 7+ years of relevant experience
- Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Coupa AP Platform experience is preferred
- Experience with enterprise accounting systems, Intacct experience a plus
- Experience with international AP processes a plus
- Knowledge of general ledger, monthly close process and auditing
