Overview of the role:

The Staff Accountant position reports to the Controller and is responsible for a variety of accounting functions within the full accounting cycle ranging from posting journal entries to assistance with preparation of the financial statements.

What you’ll do:

Assist in meeting day-to-day financial responsibilities and deliverables.
Manage the accounts payable processes.
Assist with the accounts receivable process, including invoicing and collections.
Prepare required monthly journal entries.
Perform general ledger reconciliations and maintenance.
Assist with the month-end accounting close process.
Ensure compliance with all internal controls.
Assist with annual external audits and tax compliance requirements.
Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.

What we want from you:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
2-3 years of accounting experience.
Understanding of general ledger accounts and business processes.
Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
High level of initiative and drive with willingness to learn.
Experience with Sage Intacct is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
