Staff Accountant

SpyCloud is searching for a Staff Accountant to join our Accounting Team. SpyCloud is a pioneer in breach discovery. Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our Finance team and assist with daily accounting duties as well as month end close activities. The position will report to the Senior Manager of Accounting and is responsible for transactional accounting needs, which includes account reconciliations, posting of journal entries and report preparation.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Contribute to month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities
- Work with external vendors and prepare bills for payment
- Prepare invoices and follow-on accounts receivables collections
- Reconciliation of banks
- Document retention and organization
- Maintain underlying account schedules such as prepaids, accruals and depreciation schedules
- Correspond with other departments to ensure proper review and accounting of expenditures
- Review financial statements for accuracy
- Ad hoc projects & duties as identified
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Accounting; CPA not required but is preferable
Preferred Skills
Proficiency in Excel, Netsuite, Expensify, Salesforce.com, and Bill.com
1-3 years accounting experience
1-2 years SaaS experience
