Stock Administrator
ABOUT THE ROLE
Incumbent will be responsible for hands-on, end-to-end administration of the Company’s equity plan(s). You will support and collaborate with internal business partners, answer employee questions regarding equity grants, assist in the management of the stockholder ledger, manage communications, and assist with employee education and training regarding the company's equity plans.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administer the company’s equity plans for all US employees, including processing stock option and restricted stock unit grants, exercises and releases, modifications, cancellations, and terminations
- Assist in development and maintenance of policies and procedures related to stock administration, and lead efforts to automate routine work streams and manual processes
- Work closely with the company’s transfer agent, external service providers and internal Legal, Payroll, Tax teams as necessary to support reporting and compliance with federal, state regulations and securities laws
- Develop, maintain, and deliver educational materials and customized resources to support employees understanding of equity awards including basic tax information
- Manage ongoing and annual IRS and SEC filings if and as required
- Manage 10B-5 plans as required
- Respond to participant inquiries regarding grants, vesting and exercises in a timely manner
- Reconcile shares related to stock plan transactions on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Perform other analytic and research duties for broader compensation team as time allows
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- Three (3) or more years’ experience in equity administration in a public company setting highly desired
- Experience with on-line equity platforms required
- Understanding of accounting and tax standards relating to equity compensation required
- Capable of working in a fast-paced work environment that requires multi-tasking highly desired
- Proficient Excel skills required
